Saw this rap duo on MTV 2 and was really feeling their style.
U-N-I (Thurzday (Yannick Koffi) and Y-O (Yonas Michael)), is a rap duo from Inglewood, CA.
While shopping on the Ralph Lauren – Rugby online store, I came across this band. I decided to Youtube their song, “My Girls” and seriously, the video is a little trippy but I love it. Very original and creative.
Animal Collective (Avey Tare (David Portner), Panda Bear (Noah Lennox), Deacon (Josh Dibb), and Geologist (Brian Weitz)), is a musical collective originally from Baltimore, Maryland, currently based in New York City. Although the band is often classified as freak folk or noise pop, it is hard to define the Animal Collective sound as they often experiment with diverse styles and ideas from album to album.

Came across this band on Pandora and I just fell in love with them. Their self-title album is just ridiculous!
Crystal Castles (Alice Glass and Ethan Kath), is an electronic music band from Toronto, Ontario. Crystal Castles are known for their chaotic live shows and Kath’s remixes for a number of groups.
Catchy tune and I can’t listen to this song without doing the “tick” during the the beginning of each verse, lmao.
Mario (Mario Dewar Barrett), is an American Grammy-nominated R&B and pop singer, actor, model, dancer and philanthropist.
So I have to say that I am a huge fan of the original but this has to be the most unique remix I’ve seen. The video is very interesting. Check it out.
Milow (Jonathan Vandenbroeck), is a Belgian country singer-songwriter.

I can’t find a bio on Dave Hill’s website but his work is AMAZING. He even wrote a blog on how he did a 3D photography shoot. Impressive!

Here’s the trailer of the upcoming movie based off of the book, “Where the Wild Things Are” by Maurice Sendak. Spike Jonze is the director of the film so you know it’s going to be SICK! The movie will hit theaters on October 15th, 2009.

I really could not get this song out of my head so I finally decided to watch the video on Youtube and I really like it! The director, Nez Khammal, used split screen to capture Kid Cudi, Kanye West and Common at different locations to make a beautiful and seamless video. The color tone and the ballons makes this video even more eye-catching. I’m not going to lie though… this song makes me kind of like Lady Gaga even though she scares me.
Kid Cudi (Scott Ramon Seguro Mescudi), is an American rapper and actor. He first gained major attention after the release of his debut mixtape “A Kid Named Cudi” and the single “Day ‘n’ Nite”.
